On a diet but still want your sweet treats? Here are some low calorie recipes!

Here are some of my favourite low calorie treats for when I am trying to be good! I have found all of these recipes online via social media through various account which specialise in low calorie recipes.

Social media is a great place to find new recipes, as most of them post video tutorials which show you exactly how to do it, which is really helpful for beginners.

They are all quick and easy and means you are not missing out!!

Chocolate Brownies

I found this recipe on Tik Tok from @weightlossandrecipes and had to try them! I have included this video below which explains how to make this easy recipe.

These are perfect if you are trying to be good and taste so gooey and are only 50 calories!!

  • 50g Blended Oats
  • 75g 0% Fat Yogurt
  • 60ml Milk (I used oat milk)
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tbsp Baking Powder
  • 30g Cocoa Powder
  • 1/2 Cup of 0 Calorie of any flavoured syrup (I used salted caramel)
  1. Pre-Heat Your oven you 200 Degrees and then line a 9″ Square Tin
  2. Firstly whisk up your egg until its pale and fluffy
  3. Then, add all your dry ingridents and whisk until all combined.
  4. Add your Yogurt, Milk and syrup and mix until its lovely brownie consistency.
  5. Pour your mixture into your pre-lined tin and bake in the oven for 20 minutes or until it has a slight wobble in the middle.
  6. Let it cool down for half an hour and then serve!

Lemon Cake

This is another recipe I found on Tik Tok which is again from @weightlossandrecipes, and is so yummy! I have included the links to do the recipes below, which show you step by step how to make this cake.

It is only 50 calories per slice (an extra 17 with the icing).

You will need:

THE CAKE

  • 2 Eggs
  • 30g Sugar
  • 60g Plain Flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Lemon Zest
  • 100ml Milk

ICING (optional – extra 17 cals)

  • 100g Low Fat Cream Cheese
  • 0 Cal Sweetener
  • Lemon Juice

Method;

  1. Preheat oven at 160 degrees and line a tin.
  2. Whisk the eggs and sugar, add the sugar 1/2 at a time, until light in colour and fluffy.
  3. Then, add the rest of the ingredients (apart from the milk) and mix until smooth.
  4. Pour into tin of your choice and bake for 15 minutes
  5. Pour the milk over the cake as soon as its out the oven.
  6. Mix together the cream cheese, sweetener and lemon juice and serve with the cake.

Biscoff Banana Bread

This recipe comes from @clarecooksfood on instagram. She posts lots of low calorie recipes and this one just looked too yummy not too try!

They are around 150 calorie per slice!

Rasberry and White Chocolate Muffins

These muffins are another easy recipe which I found on Tik Tok from @weightloss_beth on Tik Tok. They are 102 calories each!

Again, this video takes you through step by step exactly how to make this. It is very easy and just the perfect treat.

You will need;

  • 50g Light Margarine
  • 1 egg
  • 100ml skimmed milk
  • 1tsp vanilla extract
  • 150g plain flour
  • 25g caster sugar
  • 1tbsp baking powder
  • pinch of salt
  • 200g raspberries
  • 45g white chocolate
